Job Overview - LCSW, Bilingual Spanish:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their expanding healthcare team. As an LCSW, you will play a vital role in conducting mental health assessments, providing therapy, managing crises, and ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and follow-up.
Location: Long Island City, NY
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the LCSW, Bilingual Spanish:
Mental Health Assessments: Conduct assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients.
Counseling and Psychotherapy: Provide individual and group counseling and psychotherapy sessions.
Crisis Intervention: Deliver crisis intervention and manage conflicts among patients.
Referrals Management: Coordinate and track referrals to other mental health agencies and providers.
Case Reviews: Participate in case reviews with clinical staff to ensure effective patient care.
Emergency Coordination: Lead emergency response efforts and coordinate care for patients in crisis.
Scheduling and Documentation: Collaborate with Registration, Scheduling, and Medical Records Departments to ensure proper procedures.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA and internal policies, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance.
Qualifications for the LCSW, Bilingual Spanish:
Licensure: Unrestricted New York State Clinical Social Worker license.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with word processing and other computer applications.
Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
