Job Overview – HR and Credentialing Manager (Healthcare):
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000/year
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Take on a key role as an HR and Credentialing Manager (Healthcare) in Queens, NY, leading human resources and credentialing operations for our client’s growing multi-site healthcare organization. This in-office position is ideal for an HR professional with experience in healthcare recruiting, compliance, and performance management. You’ll oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, and credentialing processes while partnering with leadership to drive workforce planning and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities as the HR and Credentialing Manager:
  • HR Strategy & Compliance: Develop HR policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and align practices with healthcare and labor standards.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment and onboarding for all roles, ensuring credential verification and documentation accuracy.
  • Credentialing & Records: Maintain provider credentialing files, manage renewals, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Employee Relations & Development: Resolve workplace issues, support performance management, and coordinate training initiatives.
  • HR Operations: Oversee HRIS (ADP), manage HR records and budgets, and travel to practice sites as needed for interviews and staff support.
Qualifications for the HR and Credentialing Manager:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Certification: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years in HR management, with at least 2 years in a healthcare setting overseeing credentialing and compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ADP WorkForce Now and Microsoft Office Suite required, with experience in HRIS and credentialing systems strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strategic and detail-oriented, with strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities and provide on-site support across a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment.
