Job Overview – Clinical Supervisor (LMSW):
Compensation: $43/hour
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Join our client in Queens, NY as a Clinical Supervisor, leading clinical services and case management operations in a community-based setting. In this in-office role, you’ll supervise case managers, ensure program compliance with regulatory standards, and support quality improvement efforts. Working closely with the Assistant Program Director (APD), you’ll help strengthen case management practices and deliver impactful services to vulnerable client populations.

Responsibilities as the Clinical Supervisor:
  • Case Management Oversight: Assign cases, supervise staff performance, and provide regular guidance to case managers.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Audit client charts, ensure accurate service plans, and maintain adherence to program policies and procedures.
  • Team Development: Train new and existing staff, conduct evaluations, and address client concerns as needed.
  • Program Coordination: Partner with the APD to develop and implement group programming aligned with agency and contract standards.
  • Client Service Supervision: Oversee service delivery for mental health, substance use, and housing needs, supporting clients toward independent living goals.
Qualifications for the Clinical Supervisor:
  • Education: New York State LMSW in Social Work required.
  • Experience: 4+ years Supervising Case Management teams, with counseling expertise for HIV/AIDS, mental health, or substance abuse populations.
  • Knowledge: Extensive understanding of HIV/AIDS case management, HRA Congregate Housing Program guidelines, and best practices in service delivery.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, flexible, and culturally sensitive to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Preferred: Bilingual and bicultural in Spanish, with experience in congregate programs.
