Job Overview – Per Diem LPN (Long-Term Care):
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM or Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Per Diem LPN (Long-Term Care) in Pittsburgh, PA for our client. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate nursing care in a residential long-term care setting, overseeing medication administration, conducting health assessments, and ensuring resident safety and comfort. Ideal for detail-oriented LPNs with long-term care experience and strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities as the Per Diem LPN (Long-Term Care):
  • Resident Care: Monitor, assess, and coordinate the overall medical needs of residents per individualized care plans.
  • Nursing Duties: Administer treatments, perform wound care, and respond promptly to medical concerns.
  • Medication Management: Handle large medication passes accurately while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to state health and safety regulations, maintaining all required standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide compassionate, person-centered care.
Qualifications for the Per Diem LPN (Long-Term Care):
  • Licensure: Active and valid Pennsylvania LPN license required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in long-term care working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in medication administration, electronic charting, and patient assessment documentation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with residential healthcare operations, nursing protocols, and state health compliance standards.
  • Skills & Attributes: Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
