Job Overview – Pharmacist (Long-Term Care):
Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000/year
Location: Little Rock, AR
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-call every third weekend)


Take on a leadership role as a Pharmacist in Little Rock, AR, overseeing pharmacy operations, medication safety, inventory management, and regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting. You’ll supervise pharmacy technicians, ensure accurate dispensing, and implement systems that drive efficiency and patient safety. This full-time opportunity with our client is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with experience in LTC or retail who’s ready to lead with impact.

Responsibilities as the Pharmacist (Long-Term Care):
  • Pharmacy Operations & Staffing: Supervise technicians, manage scheduling, and oversee daily pharmacy workflow to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Inventory & Medication Management: Oversee medication inventory, ordering, returns, and E-Kit processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to State Board of Pharmacy rules, corporate policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Clinical Oversight & Safety: Evaluate medication administration for accuracy, review prescriber orders, and support safe medication practices.
  • Administrative & On-Call Duties: Handle payroll, licensing, and audits while providing on-call support every third weekend to maintain continuity of care.
Qualifications for the Pharmacist (Long-Term Care):
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Arkansas is required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy, with a strong understanding of compliance, medication management, and regulatory standards.
  • Availability: Must be available for full-time weekday hours and on-call every third weekend.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic medication records.
  • Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a pharmacy team while maintaining the highest standards in safety and patient care.
