Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Our client is hiring a Pharmacy Operations Manager (Long-Term Care) in Little Rock, AR, to oversee daily operations, medication distribution, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. This full-time leadership role includes supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate dispensing, and maintaining strict adherence to all state and federal standards.
Responsibilities as the Pharmacy Operations Manager:
Team Leadership: Supervise pharmacists and technicians, ensuring workflow efficiency and compliance.
Medication Oversight: Implement and monitor systems for safe and accurate medication administration.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to prescriber orders and regulatory standards.
Administrative Management: Manage scheduling, payroll, new hires, and operational tasks.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain licensing, oversee continuing education, and support corporate initiatives.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Operations Manager:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
Licensure: Active Arkansas Pharmacist license required.
Experience: 1-2 years of pharmacy management experience (long-term care experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and regulatory compliance.
Attributes: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume pharmacy efficiently.
