Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Outpatient Women’s Health):
Compensation: $52 – $55/hour
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM & Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Step into a key role as a Registered Nurse in Jersey City, NJ, delivering compassionate care and clinical leadership in an outpatient women’s health setting with our client. This full-time position is ideal for experienced RNs who thrive in patient-focused environments and are passionate about women’s health. You’ll triage patients, assist providers, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate education, follow-up care, and compliance with clinical standards.
Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse:
Patient Care & Triage: Assess patients, take vitals, review histories, and triage walk-ins and calls for timely follow-up.
Clinical Support & Education: Assist providers, explain treatments, review labs, and guide patients through diagnostics and care plans.
Team Oversight: Supervise medical assistants, delegate tasks, and uphold clinical quality and performance standards.
Operations & Compliance: Manage schedules, monitor inventory, maintain vaccine records, and ensure infection control adherence.
Women’s Health Services: Deliver compassionate OB/GYN care while fostering a supportive and inclusive patient experience.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:
Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey is required.
Certification: Current CPR certification is required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience in outpatient, hospital, or OB/GYN settings required, with prior experience in women’s health strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and understanding of clinical documentation requirements.
Skills & Attributes: Empathetic, organized, and confident in a leadership capacity, with strong communication and team management abilities in a high-volume outpatient setting.
