TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Part-Time Physical Therapist (Outpatient Orthopedic) in Hudson County, NJ for our client, supporting outpatient rehabilitation, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise within a clinical setting. In this role, you will treat adult patients with musculoskeletal conditions through individualized care plans and hands-on therapy. The ideal candidate will utilize EMR systems and evidence-based techniques to deliver effective treatment and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities as the Part-Time Physical Therapist (Outpatient Orthopedic):
Patient Evaluation: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
Therapeutic Treatment: Deliver manual therapy and guided exercises to support recovery.
Rehabilitation Planning: Design and implement treatment programs based on patient goals.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EMR systems.
Patient Education: Instruct patients on exercises, recovery techniques, and injury prevention.
Qualifications for the Part-Time Physical Therapist (Outpatient Orthopedic):
Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey is required.
Experience: 2+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience is required.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic exercise programs is required.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation tools is required.
Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach.
