Job Overview – Pharmacy Manager:
Compensation: $125,000 – $135,000/year
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Pharmacy Manager in Fort Worth, TX, with our client, a community-focused pharmacy. In this role, you’ll lead daily operations, oversee prescription accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care. Ideal for a motivated pharmacist with strong leadership and business skills seeking a rewarding, growth-oriented opportunity.
Responsibilities as the Pharmacy Manager:
Leadership & Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.
Prescription Oversight: Verify prescriptions, monitor dispensing accuracy, and maintain the highest standards of patient safety.
Patient Care & Counseling: Provide expert medication guidance, address concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to state, federal, and DEA regulations for controlled substances and pharmacy operations.
Operational Management: Oversee daily pharmacy activities, including inventory control, ordering, and workflow optimization.
Financial Performance: Track budgets, manage expenses, and implement strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Manager:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology or a related field required.
Licensure & Certification: Current active pharmacy license in the state of Texas required (immunization certification preferred).
Experience: Proven experience managing pharmacy operations with a focus on team leadership, business growth, and financial performance.
Technical Skills: Proficient in pharmacy software systems for prescription verification, inventory management, and patient record maintenance.
Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
