Job Overview – Manager of Intake and Outpatient Services (Behavioral Health):
Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000/year
Location: Flint, MI
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Manager of Intake and Outpatient Services (Behavioral Health) in Flint, MI for our client. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee intake operations, manage outpatient programs, and supervise clinical staff to ensure quality, compliance, and best practices. Ideal for experienced behavioral health professionals seeking a dynamic leadership opportunity with community impact.

Responsibilities as the Manager of Intake and Outpatient Services:
  • Program Management: Oversee intake and outpatient programs to ensure quality, efficiency, and client-centered care.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance, case consultation, and supervision to clinicians and staff.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor performance, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain limited caseload or provide direct clinical support as needed.
  • Community Outreach: Promote behavioral health awareness through education and community engagement.
Qualifications for the Manager of Intake and Outpatient Services:
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
  • Experience: 3+ years providing mental health or substance use disorder services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or program management role.
  • Licensure & Certification: Must hold or be eligible for Michigan licensure (LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent).
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of behavioral health best practices, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment models.
  • Skills & Attributes: Empathetic and results-driven leader with exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, capable of balancing administrative priorities with clinical excellence.
