TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Certified) in Dallas, TX for our client. This on-site role supports interventional and procedural imaging through equipment preparation, scrubbing and circulating during cases, and maintaining radiation safety and sterile technique. The ideal candidate holds active ARRT certification, a Texas Medical Board (TMB) Radiologic Technologist license, and current CPR, with interventional and mobile C-arm experience.
Responsibilities as the Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Certified):
Procedure & Imaging Support: Prepare radiology equipment, supplies, and positioning aids to support surgical and interventional procedures.
Scrub & Circulating Duties: Scrub and circulate during procedures, providing timely clinical and technical support in the OR or procedure suite.
Equipment Operation & Radiation Safety: Operate and monitor radiology equipment and mobile C-arm systems while ensuring proper shielding and radiation safety protocols.
Sterile Technique & Compliance: Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines throughout all procedures.
Documentation & Suite Readiness: Document radiation exposure and case details, assist with inventory control, and ensure procedure rooms are clean and ready between cases.
Qualifications for the Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Certified):
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Licensure & Certification: Active ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board (TMB) Radiologic Technologist license required, with current CPR certification and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
Experience: 1+ years of experience scrubbing interventional radiology or procedural cases, with hands-on experience operating and assisting with mobile C-arm imaging.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in radiologic equipment operation, sterile technique, and procedural documentation systems.
Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to remain calm and effective in fast-paced procedural environments.
