Job Overview – Staff Pharmacist (Sterile Compounding Pharmacy):
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000/year
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Staff Pharmacist (Sterile Compounding Pharmacy) in Dallas, TX for our client. This full-time, closed-door role oversees sterile and non-sterile compounding operations while ensuring compliance, quality, and patient safety. Ideal for pharmacists with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence in a collaborative, professional environment.

Responsibilities as the Staff Pharmacist:
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and patient safety.
  • Compounding & Verification: Supervise sterile and non-sterile compounding, validating formulas and final products.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor technicians to maintain quality, efficiency, and professional growth.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold all TSBP, USP <797>, and company SOP standards for safe, compliant operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee medication inventory, documentation, and workflow accuracy.
Qualifications for the Staff Pharmacist:
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License required.
  • Experience: 5+ years in pharmacy practice, with at least 2 years in sterile compounding or a closed-door pharmacy setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in compounding systems and pharmacy software (PersonalMD Pharmacy Software preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of TSBP regulations, USP <797> standards, and sterile compounding best practices.
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive professional with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
