TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Bilingual Primary Care Physician (Geriatrics) in Brooklyn, NY for our client, providing primary and geriatric care within an outpatient and community-based setting. This role requires fluency in Spanish to effectively communicate with patients and deliver high-quality, culturally competent care. In this role, you will manage patient care, oversee treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure strong patient outcomes while supporting care coordination and clinical program development.
Responsibilities as the Bilingual Primary Care Physician (Geriatrics):
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult and geriatric patients.
Clinical Oversight: Lead and support interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care delivery.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with providers and staff to manage patient care plans and continuity of care.
Utilization Review: Evaluate services to improve quality, efficiency, and cost of care.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Bilingual Primary Care Physician (Geriatrics):
Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution is required.
Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of New York is required.
Certification: Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in primary care is required, with experience treating geriatric populations preferred.
Training: Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required, with additional geriatrics experience or fellowship preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of primary care, geriatric medicine, and outpatient clinical practices is required.
Technical Skills: Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation tools is required.
Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage patient care in a multidisciplinary setting.
