Job Overview – LPN Supervisor (Adult Care Facility):
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Day or Evening Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
Our client is hiring an experienced LPN Supervisor in Bronx, NY, to oversee daily clinical care and manage HHAs in a high-volume adult residential facility. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for Licensed Practical Nurses with strong clinical judgment, medication administration expertise, and experience supervising staff. You'll ensure quality resident care, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities as the LPN Supervisor (Adult Care Facility):
Staff Supervision: Oversee daily operations, guide HHAs, and lead routine team meetings.
Resident Care Oversight: Deliver clinical care, perform nursing procedures, and manage care plan implementation.
Medication Management: Coordinate prescriptions, refills, and safe medication administration.
Care Coordination & Documentation: Support admissions, monitor resident health, and maintain accurate clinical records.
Team & Resident Support: Promote staff development, address concerns, and educate residents and families on care needs.
Qualifications for the LPN Supervisor (Adult Care Facility):
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensure: Valid New York State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Experience: 1+ years in community health, adult care, or acute care nursing, with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in clinical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and promote resident safety and staff accountability.
