Job Overview – Radiologic Technologist (Inpatient & ED Imaging):
Compensation: $60 – $66/hour
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 AM
Join our client in Boston, MA, as a Radiologic Technologist (Inpatient & ED Imaging), performing high-quality digital X-ray exams in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role offers a competitive pay rate and supports both emergency and inpatient care units. Ideal candidates have experience in trauma imaging, advanced radiographic systems, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities as the Radiologic Technologist:
Diagnostic Imaging: Perform routine and emergency radiographic exams in ED, inpatient, and trauma settings using digital imaging systems.
Patient Care & Positioning: Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, comfort, and safety throughout each procedure.
Image Review & Submission: Confirm image quality, accuracy, and proper labeling before submitting studies to PACS.
Collaboration & Workflow: Coordinate with clinical teams to manage high-volume imaging needs efficiently and professionally.
Compliance & Equipment: Adhere to ALARA and safety protocols, and maintain imaging equipment per regulatory and hospital standards.
Qualifications for the Radiologic Technologist:
Education: Completion of a Vocational or Technical training program in Medical Radiography is required.
Licensure: Must hold a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license in Radiography.
Certification: ARRT registered with active BLS (AHA) certification required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or trauma setting performing diagnostic radiography, preferably in high-volume ED or inpatient environments.
Technical Skills: Proficient in digital radiographic systems, PACS platforms, and EMR documentation with the ability to navigate imaging workflows efficiently.
Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure, multidisciplinary environments.
