TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Psychiatric Technician (Adult Behavioral Health) in Beaver County, PA with our client. In this night shift role, you will provide direct care, behavioral support, and daily living assistance to adults in a residential treatment program. Ideal for compassionate professionals dedicated to helping individuals achieve recovery and wellness in a structured, therapeutic setting.
Responsibilities as the Psychiatric Technician (Adult Behavioral Health):
Resident Supervision: Ensure a safe, supportive environment that promotes residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
Treatment Support: Assist in implementing individualized treatment goals under clinical supervision.
Direct Care: Support residents with daily activities, encouraging independence and healthy coping skills.
Observation & Reporting: Accurately document behaviors, progress, and incidents per program guidelines.
Crisis Intervention: Respond to behavioral crises calmly and safely, following established protocols.
Qualifications for the Psychiatric Technician (Adult Behavioral Health):
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of paid or volunteer experience in behavioral health, residential care, or human services.
Licensure: Valid driver’s license required.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of severe mental illness, addiction recovery principles, and trauma-informed care practices.
Skills & Attributes: Empathetic and patient professional with strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills, dedicated to promoting dignity, safety, and recovery for all residents.
