Job Overview - Gastroenterology Nurse (RN):
Join our healthcare client as a Gastroenterology Nurse (RN) in Bronx, NY, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. In this temporary role, you'll coordinate and evaluate nursing care while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Compensation: $65/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (No Weekends)
Responsibilities as the Gastroenterology Nurse (RN):
Patient Care: Perform assessments, treatments, and interventions, ensuring quality care for all patients.
Medication: Administer medications, including IV therapy, and monitor patient responses.
Coordination: Work with healthcare providers to develop patient-centered plans of care.
Patient Education: Provide information and guidance to patients and families on test results and treatment plans.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to patient safety initiatives, quality standards, and clinical compliance.
Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and promote best practices.
Qualifications for the Gastroenterology Nurse (RN):
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Nursing, specifically in Gastroenterology or related fields.
