Job Description

Role Overview:
The Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide nursing care across hospital departments based on unit needs. Primary duties include conducting nursing assessments, developing/updating care plans, administering treatments and medications, closely monitoring patients, and effectively collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Compensation: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 
Sign On Bonus: $10,000.00
Location: Suffolk County, New York

7 am - 7:15 pm, 13 shifts every four weeks/alt weekends/holidays

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in New York
  • Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified within 6-12 months
  • Additional specialty certifications may be required
