Job Overview – Family Treatment Program Supervisor:
Step into an impactful role as a Family Treatment Program Supervisor with our client in New York, NY. In this leadership position, you will oversee case planners and support staff to deliver exceptional, family-centered services. Utilizing Solution-Based Casework (SBC) and Motivational Interviewing, you’ll collaborate with families to enhance child safety, strengthen family dynamics, and foster meaningful community connections.
Compensation: $34/hour
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Family Treatment Program Supervisor:
Clinical Supervision: Manage staff in implementing family-specific goals and ensure compliance with best practices.
Crisis Management: Handle case-related crises and support staff during internal and external conferences.
Staff Development: Provide coaching and training in Solution-Based Casework and Motivational Interviewing.
Program Oversight: Lead unit meetings, monitor procedures, and ensure timely reporting and documentation.
Quality Assurance: Conduct case reviews, assess service quality, and utilize consumer feedback surveys.
Community Engagement: Build relationships with community agencies and coordinate with ACS effectively.
Qualifications for the Family Treatment Program Supervisor:
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in NYC child welfare required.
Skills: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities with proficiency in MS Office and database systems such as NYS Connections and PROMIS.
Attributes: Committed to a strengths-based, youth and family development perspective with the ability to lead and inspire a team effectively.
Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish.
