Job Overview – Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Our client seeks a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care in North Hampton, MA. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional healthcare, particularly gender-affirming care, to a diverse patient population.
Compensation: $115,000 - $140,000/year Location: North Hampton, MA
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid, 1 Day Telehealth)
Responsibilities as the Family Nurse Practitioner:
Comprehensive Care: Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical exams, diagnostics, and preventive services for patients of all ages.
Gender-Affirming Therapy: Provide Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) following established protocols.
Patient Management: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and coordinate care.
Patient Education: Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
Collaborative Care: Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and participate in community health initiatives.
Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate electronic health records and participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the Family Nurse Practitioner:
Licensure: Current NP licensure in Massachusetts.
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 2+ years of advanced practice experience, with a focus on LGBTQ+ and transgender patient care.
Skills: Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, commitment to patient-centered care, and proficiency in electronic health records.
Technical Skills: Experience with EPIC, Slack, G-Suite, and related software.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate empathy, accountability, flexibility, and a positive attitude while supporting colleagues and patients.
