Job Overview - Executive Medical Director:
Take on the role of Executive Medical Director with our client in the Bronx, NY, overseeing daily operations to ensure excellent service, resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial success. You'll manage service areas, staff, and resident services to maintain high standards of care and quality of life.
Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000/year
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Executive Medical Director:
Management: Oversee daily operations across all departments including Hospitality, Dining, Programming, Sales, Maintenance, and Business Office to ensure high standards of service.
Leadership: Manage and develop staff, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining a positive work environment that fosters associate engagement.
Resident Care: Ensure resident health, safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction and access to quality services.
Development: Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of services, policies, and procedures to meet operational goals and improve efficiency.
Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance and operational efficiency to drive strong financial results and achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications for the Executive Medical Director:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA/MSW) preferred in a related healthcare field.
Experience: 4-10 years of related work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of Supervisory experience.
Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and employees of all backgrounds.
Senior Living Experience: Experience working in a senior living facility strongly preferred.
Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience presenting information to senior management and managing complex operations.
