Job Overview - Emergency Room Nurse (RN):
Join our healthcare client's team as an Emergency Room Nurse. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive emergency care in a Level 3 trauma center, handling STEMI and stroke cases, and managing a wide range of emergency medical needs.
Location: Yuma, AZ
Compensation: $39 - $51/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Day or Night Shift, 12 Hours
Responsibilities as the Emergency Room Nurse (RN):
Patient Care: Manage any and all emergency needs, including tougher cases.
Team Collaboration: Work with ED techs and PCAs to perform EKGs, take vitals, draw blood, and apply splints.
Telemetry: Read own telemetry while coordinating with a monitor tech.
Critical Transport: Accompany transport team for critical patient transfers.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Department setting.
Skills: Proficient in handling emergency cases, reading telemetry, and managing patient care in a trauma center.
Preferred: Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center, with the ability to handle STEMI and stroke cases.
