Job Overview – ER Registered Nurse (RN):
Step into a critical role as an ER Registered Nurse (RN) in Bronx, NY, providing expert care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment. This night shift opportunity demands advanced clinical skills, quick decision-making, and teamwork to deliver optimal patient outcomes during urgent situations.
Compensation: $71/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Responsibilities as the ER Registered Nurse (RN):
Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients’ conditions, prioritize critical interventions, and respond promptly to emergency situations.
Emergency Procedures: Operate advanced equipment, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors, and administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, and other therapeutic measures.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring effective communication within the care team.
Care Planning: Develop and execute individualized care plans, assign tasks to team members, and monitor patient progress.
Unit Support: Ensure all supplies are stocked, equipment is functional, and a safe environment is maintained for patients and staff.
Qualifications for the ER Registered Nurse (RN):
Experience: At least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
Licensure and Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ventilator management and the use of emergency medical equipment.
Skills: Exceptional multitasking, communication, and critical-thinking abilities in high-pressure environments.
Flexibility: Ability to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) or ICU units as needed.
