Job Overview - Director of Nursing:
Our esteemed client's healthcare facility is in search of a dynamic Director of Nursing for their Opioid Treatment Program. As a skilled Registered Nurse with supervisory experience, you'll be pivotal in delivering exceptional care to individuals seeking support for substance abuse disorders.
Location: Brighton, MA
Compensation: $105,000 - $115,000/year
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Director of Nursing:
Team Supervision: Interview, hire, orient, and train all nursing staff; provide weekly supervision; and conduct annual evaluations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, manage inventory, and handle reporting responsibilities.
Quality Assurance: Oversee dosing procedures, attend committee meetings, and provide support for quality improvement.
Financial Management: Coordinate staffing and prepare reports for financial audits.
Training and Development: Develop and update policies, and train nursing staff on procedures.
Emergency Response: Be available for acute care needs and provide on-call coverage.
Community and Funder Relations: Foster connections with funders, assist with COA requirements, and maintain community relations.
Qualifications for the Director of Nursing:
Experience: 5 years of post-graduate experience in mental health/substance abuse and 3 years of direct supervisory experience in nursing personnel.
Licensure: Holds a Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Massachusetts.
Skills: Demonstrates adeptness in collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, applying Client-Centered and Trauma-Informed care principles, and understanding Medicated Assisted Treatment and the served population.
Technical: Proficiently utilizes electronic health record systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and responds promptly to calls from an answering service when necessary.
