Job Overview – Director of Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Services (Hybrid):
Take on a pivotal leadership role as the Director of Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Services with our client in Bronx, NY. This hybrid position focuses on delivering impactful, family-centered rehabilitative programs aimed at preventing family disruptions and reducing the need for foster care placements. You’ll lead efforts to ensure service excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance while building strong community partnerships to enhance program success.
Compensation: $43 - $46/hour
Location: Bronx, NY (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Director of Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Services:
Program Leadership: Drive the implementation of practices, policies, and procedures consistent with the Prevention Program Plan for Performance Excellence.
Supervision & Risk Management: Provide regular supervision to preventive supervisors, focusing on safety, risk assessment, and strengthening staff capacity.
Service Delivery: Oversee supportive and rehabilitative services that prevent foster care placement, facilitate reunification, or prevent re-entry into care.
Training & Certification: Ensure staff training and certification in Solution-Based Casework, maintaining proficiency in critical skills.
Quality Assurance: Monitor case planning components, track quality assurance metrics, and address ACS evaluation items.
Staff Development: Hire, train, and provide ongoing staff development to maintain a continuum of client services, addressing performance with progressive discipline as necessary.
Qualifications for the Director of Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Services:
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field is required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Managerial experience in a Child Welfare setting.
Skills:Â Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on team culture and staff retention.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of ACS Prevention Standards, CONNECTIONS, and Promise data systems is required.
