Job Overview - RN: Director of Education:
We are seeking a Director of Education to work at our Bronx location. Join our compassionate and dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of our members. This role involves overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of MLTC eligibility assessment data, reviewing assessments, and developing educational processes for clinical teams.
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the RN: Director of Education:
Develop, direct, deliver, evaluate, and coordinate education programs for MLTC clinical staff.
Oversee and manage the Nurse Educator Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator.
Direct the preparation, scheduling, and selection of instructional materials and training aids.
Ensure effective in-service programs are provided for staff.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical standards of practice.
Qualifications for the RN: Director of Education:
5+ years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
3+ years of teaching experience in a classroom or clinical setting, with experience in staff development or adult instruction.
3+ years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
Current NY State RN License.
Knowledge of DOH and MLTC standards for home care.
Familiarity with Health Commerce system and UAS-NY.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
