Job Overview - Criminal Justice Specialist:
Join our client's team as a Criminal Justice Specialist in New York, NY. This role involves providing treatment and services to individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) and co-occurring substance use disorders, focusing on criminal justice involvement.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $60,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Criminal Justice Specialist:
Lead clinical groups and attend team meetings.
Complete required documentation and reports.
Liaise with stakeholders involved in clients' justice involvement.
Collaborate with clients' support networks and service providers.
Offer culturally competent, trauma-informed, and evidence-based clinical services.
Qualifications for the Criminal Justice Specialist:
LMHC, MHC-LP, LMSW, LCSW with a current New York State license.
Experience with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment models.
Preferred experience with the criminal legal system.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and a team player.
Proficient in computer skills.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.
