Role Overview:
The Emergency Clinician will serve as a first responder, providing crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services for community members in emotional distress. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations to determine risk, needs, and appropriate care options while collaborating with local hospitals, law enforcement, and stakeholders.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 Location: Alleghany County, Virginia or Remote
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities:
Face-to-face crisis response and counseling
Mental health and risk assessments
Care coordination and discharge planning
Emergency pre-screening and hospital admission support
Community outreach and wellness education
Qualifications:
Master’s in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
1+ years experience with MH/SUD patients
Pursuing or obtaining relevant state licensure
Strong assessment and communication skills
Valid driver’s license
Pre-screener certification
