Job Overview - Clinical Supervisor:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join their expanding healthcare team in Philadelphia, PA. This vital role involves directing facility counseling staff, ensuring training and development, and providing clinical supervision.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Clinical Supervisor:
  • Team Leadership: Direct facility counseling staff to meet individuals' medical, social, and behavioral health needs with evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered services.
  • Training and Development: Ensure counseling staff are adequately trained through direct observation and feedback.
  • Clinical Supervision: Supervise evaluations and oversee client assessments to identify changing treatment needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve clinical documentation, conduct regular quality assurance and improvement reviews, and ensure compliance with governing agency regulations.
  • Curriculum Review: Collaborate with the Treatment Director to review and approve treatment curriculum and materials.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports for program management and maintain accurate records to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Ancillary Services: Facilitate, recommend, and oversee ancillary services and community referrals for clients in both inpatient and outpatient programs.
Qualifications for the Clinical Supervisor:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a DDAP approved field with 5 years of clinical substance abuse treatment experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of clinical supervision experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Required administrative/clerical experience; preferred experience in a mental health setting.
