Job Overview – Clinical Supervisor (LMSW):
Step into a key leadership position with our client in Queens, NY, as a Clinical Supervisor. This role involves managing clinical services, guiding a team of case managers, and ensuring all programs meet regulatory and professional standards. You’ll collaborate with the Assistant Program Director (APD) to enhance case management practices and deliver impactful services to clients.

Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Responsibilities as the Clinical Supervisor:
  • Case Management Oversight: Assign cases, monitor staff performance, and provide regular supervision to case managers.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct audits of client charts and ensure service plans are comprehensive, accurate, and meet client needs.
  • Team Training and Support: Provide training for new and existing staff, conduct performance evaluations, and handle client concerns effectively.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the APD to design and implement group programming in compliance with agency and contract requirements.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Prepare program statistics, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Client Support: Supervise service delivery for mental health, substance abuse, and housing stability, ensuring clients receive necessary services and achieve independent living goals.
Qualifications for the Clinical Supervisor:
  • Education: New York State LMSW in Social Work required.
  • Experience: 4+ years Supervising Case Management teams, with counseling expertise for HIV/AIDS, mental health, or substance abuse populations.
  • Knowledge: Extensive understanding of HIV/AIDS case management, HRA Congregate Housing Program guidelines, and best practices in service delivery.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, flexible, and culturally sensitive to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Preferred: Bilingual and bicultural in Spanish, with experience in congregate programs.
