Job Overview – Clinical Supervisor (LCSW):
Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000/year
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Clinical Supervisor (LCSW) in New York, NY, for our client. In this leadership role, you will supervise mental health clinicians, oversee clinical operations, and ensure compliance with OMH and CCBHC standards. Ideal candidates have experience supporting individuals with serious mental illness and are passionate about recovery-focused, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities as the Clinical Supervisor (LCSW):
  • Clinical Oversight: Lead the delivery, coordination, and quality of mental health services for individuals with complex behavioral and psychosocial needs.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and performance guidance to ensure compliance with OMH, Medicaid, and CCBHC standards.
  • Documentation Review: Approve and audit clinical documentation, including treatment plans, assessments, crisis notes, and progress reports.
  • Training & Development: Conduct staff training and development initiatives to enhance clinical skills, engagement strategies, and treatment outcomes.
  • Program Collaboration: Participate in case reviews, interdisciplinary meetings, and policy development to support program-wide service excellence.
Qualifications for the Clinical Supervisor (LCSW):
  • Licensure: Must hold an active New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in EHR/EMR systems (PSYCKES and Healthix experience strongly preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with OMH regulations, CCBHC standards, and Medicaid billing.
  • Skills & Attributes: Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload with cultural competence and apply evidence-based therapeutic models.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
