Job Overview – Clinical Supervisor (LCSW) – Behavioral Health Services:
Join our client as a Clinical Supervisor (LCSW) in Manhattan, NY. In this hybrid role, you will oversee behavioral health services by providing clinical supervision, conducting client assessments, and ensuring compliance with OMH and OASAS regulations. You’ll play a key role in guiding a team of clinicians while directly supporting clients through individual and group counseling.
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000/year
Location: Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Clinical Supervisor (LCSW):
Client Assessment: Conduct psychosocial interviews and initial client intakes in accordance with OASAS or OMH regulations.
Therapeutic Services: Provide individual and group counseling, develop therapeutic alliances, and maintain ongoing clinical communication.
Treatment Planning: Create and update goal-oriented treatment plans that adhere to agency guidelines and timelines.
Documentation: Ensure all case records and clinical notes are completed within 48 hours of client interactions.
Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance to LMSW and unlicensed team members, co-signing service documentation as needed.
Interagency Coordination: Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing linkages to additional services and support.
Qualifications for the Clinical Supervisor (LCSW):
Education & Licensure: LCSW required (CASAC credential is a plus).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Clinical experience, with at least 1-2 years post-LCSW licensure (supervisory experience is a plus).
Skills: Demonstrates strong client engagement, counseling, and clinical documentation abilities, with proficiency in electronic health records.
Attributes: Exceptional time management skills, ability to work remotely when needed, and a commitment to serving diverse populations.
Preferred: Experience working with psychiatric issues, trauma, or incarceration; bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Flexibility: May require occasional travel to other locations or third-party facilities.
