Job Overview – Clinical Office Manager
Compensation: $57,000 – $62,000/year
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Clinical Office Manager in Tampa, FL for our client, supporting office operations, staff supervision, and patient services within a healthcare environment. This leadership role will oversee daily operations, coordinate administrative and clinical workflows, ensure operational efficiency, and help deliver a high-quality patient experience. The ideal candidate will bring prior healthcare management experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to support a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities as the Clinical Office Manager:
  • Office Operations: Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes to ensure an efficient, organized, and patient-focused environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop office staff while managing schedules, workflow, and day-to-day operations.
  • Patient Services: Support a positive patient experience by addressing operational issues and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient workflows and ensure effective communication across the office.
  • Administrative Management: Oversee scheduling, reporting, and other administrative functions to support operational goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance workflows, and strengthen overall office performance.

Qualifications for the Clinical Office Manager:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting is required, including prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, physician practice, or other healthcare environment is required, and a clinical background as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or similar patient care role is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with electronic medical record systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and healthcare office software is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment are required.
