Job Overview - Clinical Coordinator (LMSW):
Step into a leadership role with our client in Brooklyn, NY, as a Clinical Coordinator (LMSW). You will supervise Case Managers and ensure the use of best-practice clinical interventions, including Harm Reduction and Housing First strategies, to provide the highest quality care for clients.
Compensation: $64,000 - $68,000/year Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Clinical Coordinator (LMSW):
Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of Case Managers, providing regular guidance and support.
Clinical Leadership: Implement and promote effective strategies, including Housing First and Harm Reduction models.
Service Coordination: Oversee client service plans, ensuring timely documentation and progress tracking.
Client Assessment: Conduct interviews, assessments, and provide clinical direction to address client needs.
Crisis Management: Support staff in managing challenging situations and de-escalating conflicts.
Qualifications for the Clinical Coordinator (LMSW):
Licensing: NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required, or must obtain LMSW within six months.
Experience: 3+ years working with related populations (supervisory experience preferred).
Skills: Strong understanding of Housing First, Harm Reduction, and crisis intervention techniques.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Language: Bilingual preferred!
