Role Overview:
Our client’s treatment & recovery centers is seeking a Clinic Director to help oversee all aspects of clinical and administrative services at their Brooklyn facility. The Clinic Director will provide supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff, manage front-end revenue cycle activities, monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $127,000.00
Location: New York City
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Responsibilities:
Administrative:
• Direct, supervise and evaluate the work of medical, behavioral health, clerical, and maintenance staff
• Oversee fiscal operations including budgeting, expenditures and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and applicable laws/regulations
• Collaborate with Fiscal, HR, Facilities and other departments on site operations
• Maintain record management systems and prepare activity reports
• Establish staff schedules and assignments based on workload and resources
• Serve as designated OASAS Clinical Director as needed
Patient & Community Engagement:
• Consult with referral sources, partners and community groups to address needs
• Participate in community planning board activities to enhance public relations
Leadership:
• Monitor performance metrics and quality indicators to meet/exceed expectations
• Assist staff in maintaining and enhancing quality of patient care
• Implement organizational policies and procedures for the facility
• Maintain communication between clinic staff and corporate leadership
• Stay current on advances in healthcare, behavioral health and management
Qualifications:
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
• Master's degree in Human Services preferred; MBA or management-related accepted
• CASAC certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in chemical dependence field
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in chemical dependence field
• Completion of Clinical Supervision Foundations Training I & II within 6 months of hire
• Knowledge of urban community issues related to healthcare, SUDs, co-morbidity
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Comprehensive knowledge of state regulations and contract deliverables
• Experience in healthcare facility administration, finance, performance management
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
• Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and institutional performance
• Bilingual English/Spanish language skills a plus
