Job Overview – Chief Communications Officer:
Join our healthcare client as a Chief Communications Officer (CCO) in Bronx, NY. This executive-level role is ideal for a strategic communications leader with expertise in public relations, brand management, crisis communication, and digital strategy. You will shape the organization's narrative, reputation, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear, impactful messaging across all platforms. This position requires strong leadership, media relations expertise, and a forward-thinking approach to corporate communications.
Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000/year + bonus
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Chief Communications Officer:
Strategic Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance brand reputation and engagement.
Public Relations & Media: Oversee press releases, media outreach, and serve as the primary spokesperson.
Internal Communications: Lead employee engagement initiatives, newsletters, and town hall meetings.
Brand & Digital Strategy: Ensure consistent messaging, oversee branding, and manage digital/social media efforts.
Stakeholder & Community Relations: Build partnerships, represent the organization, and strengthen external relationships.
Qualifications for the Chief Communications Officer:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:Â 10+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or brand management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in strategic communications, media relations, crisis management, and digital marketing, including social media and content strategy.
