Job Overview – Certified Nursing Program Director (ASN Required): Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000/year
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Certified Nursing Program Director in Houston, TX for our client, a key leadership role overseeing daily operations, clinical coordination, and staff management within a specialized wound care program. This full-time position blends healthcare administration, multidisciplinary collaboration, and team leadership to drive high-quality patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities as the Certified Nursing Program Director:
Clinical & Operational Leadership:Â Oversee daily wound care operations, maintain compliance, uphold hospital partner reporting, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Team Management & Development: Supervise clinic staff through scheduling, training, performance management, and behavioral coaching while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Program Oversight & Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot operational challenges between centers, physicians, and hospital partners, ensuring smooth workflows and timely problem resolution.
Performance & Patient Experience:Â Collaborate with the Medical Director on performance improvement, enhance patient experience and quality, and ensure adherence to documentation and performance standards.
Financial & Strategic Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor KPIs, optimize program utilization, and support strategic growth and continuous improvement across assigned sites.
Qualifications for the Certified Nursing Program Director:
Education: Associate degree in Nursing required.
Certification: Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in nurse management or hospital service line leadership (prior experience in wound care is highly preferred).
Technical Skills:Â Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable navigating healthcare software and technology platforms to support clinical operations.
Skills & Attributes: Strategic and solutions-oriented leader with strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a proven ability to drive innovation in fast-paced clinical settings.
