Job Overview - Cardiac Telemetry Nurse (RN):
Take on a pivotal role with our healthcare client in New York, as a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse (RN). In this night shift position, you'll provide specialized care to patients with various heart conditions in a 39-bed cardiac telemetry unit.
Compensation: $50/hour Location: Albany, NY
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Responsibilities as the Cardiac Telemetry Nurse (RN):
Patient Care: Provide care for patients with heart conditions, including pre/post heart catheterization, TAVRs, ablations, and CHF.
Monitoring & Assessment: Monitor and assess patients using cardiac telemetry and other advanced medical equipment.
Treatment Management: Manage and administer treatments for heart arrhythmias, pericardial windows, and related conditions.
Advanced Skills: Utilize skills in handling chest tubes, wound vacs, PCA pumps, hemodialysis, and substance withdrawal care.
Qualifications for the Cardiac Telemetry Nurse (RN):
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in cardiac telemetry or related fields.
