Job Overview – Billing & Operations Manager:
Take the lead in billing operations and compliance as a Billing & Operations Manager with our healthcare client in Bronx, NY. In this role, you will oversee Medicaid claims accuracy, ensure adherence to Department of Health (DOH) standards, and enhance billing workflows through thorough audits and staff training.
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000/year
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Billing & Operations Manager:
Billing Oversight: Reconcile Medicaid claims with BSQ and resolve coding issues to prevent voided claims.
Claims Auditing: Audit Health Home billing claims against data from MAPP and FCM to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Data Reconciliation: Align billing claims with reports from MCOs and CMS to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Collaboration: Liaise with enrollment units, operations staff, CMS, and MCOs to address discrepancies and streamline billing.
Policy Compliance: Ensure all billing practices meet DOH standards and internal protocols.
Qualifications for the Billing & Operations Manager:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Accounts Receivable or Billing within healthcare or non-profits.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and health-related databases; familiarity with systems like eClinicalWorks, eCares, FCM, and MAPP.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, coding, insurance, and value-based payment systems.
Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to workflow management.
