Job Overview – Bilingual Registered Dietitian (PRN): Compensation: $72,000/year
Location: Collier County, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Join our community-focused healthcare client as a Bilingual Registered Dietitian (PRN) in Collier County, FL. This in-office role supports the Ryan White program and is ideal for a licensed nutrition professional fluent in English and Spanish or Creole. You'll assess nutritional needs, create care plans, collaborate with clinical teams, and deliver culturally relevant nutrition education. You'll also support employee wellness through targeted programs and outreach.
Responsibilities as the Bilingual Registered Dietitian (PRN):
Nutrition Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, reviewing medical history, labs, dietary habits, and risk factors.
Care Team Collaboration: Develop individualized nutrition plans in coordination with providers and clinical staff.
Patient Education: Deliver culturally appropriate nutrition guidance on food choices, meal planning, and preparation.
Nutrition Planning: Set patient-centered goals and implement care plans aligned with overall treatment strategies.
Documentation & Tracking: Record assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Wellness Initiatives: Support patient and employee wellness programs through education, events, and committee participation.
Qualifications for the Bilingual Registered Dietitian (PRN):
Language Requirement: Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Creole required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2+ years as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical setting required.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Florida.
Certification: Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or certified as a Nutrition Specialist by the American Nutrition Association, with CPR (BLS-HCP) certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Skills & Attributes: Strong interpersonal and counseling skills with experience in group education, public speaking, and program development.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
