Job Overview – Bilingual Registered Dietitian (Full-Time):
Compensation: $72,000/year
Location: Collier County, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Our client is hiring a Bilingual Registered Dietitian in Collier County, FL to provide clinical nutrition services to underserved communities through the Ryan White program. This patient-facing role centers on nutrition assessments, care planning, and education alongside a multidisciplinary care team. Ideal candidates are bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole and English, possess strong clinical skills, and are committed to improving community health outcomes.
Responsibilities as the Bilingual Registered Dietitian:
Nutrition Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments including patient history, lab results, and dietary risks.
Care Plan Development: Collaborate with providers to create personalized nutrition care plans.
Patient Education: Provide counseling and resources on nutrition, meal planning, and lifestyle changes.
Care Coordination: Set measurable goals and align plans with the broader care team.
Recordkeeping: Document assessments, goals, and progress in the electronic health record.
Wellness Initiatives: Lead wellness programs, workshops, and community health events.
Qualifications for the Bilingual Registered Dietitian:
Language Requirement: Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Haitian Creole is required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field is preferred.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Florida.
Certification: Registered Dietitian (CDR) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), with current CPR/AED (AHA BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a registered dietitian in a clinical or community-based setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage patients one-on-one or in small groups.
