Compensation: $18 – $21/hour
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This temp-to-perm role supports both front-office operations and direct patient care, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, scheduling, rooming, and vitals. You’ll also manage chart preparation, medical records, and EMR systems (Athena, EPIC Acumen). Responsibilities as the Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish):
Patient Interaction: Manage check-in and check-out processes to provide a positive patient experience.
Insurance Management: Verify insurance information and handle prior authorizations and referrals.
Scheduling: Organize appointments, reminders, and chart preparation.
Clinical Support: Assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, and supporting physicians.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, prepare documentation, and ensure EMR compliance.
Qualifications for the Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish):
Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
Experience: Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems, including Athena and EPIC Acumen.
Industry Knowledge: Exposure to nephrology strongly preferred.
Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.
