Job Overview – Behavioral Health Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW):
Support our client as a Behavioral Health Social Worker in Queens, NY. This hybrid position involves delivering counseling and case management services to individuals with complex behavioral health needs. You’ll play a pivotal role in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000/year
Location: Queens, NY (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Behavioral Health Social Worker:
Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive client assessments and psychosocial interviews to evaluate needs and strengths.
Therapeutic Alliance: Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients to foster trust and engagement.
Counseling Services: Provide ongoing individual counseling and facilitate weekly group counseling sessions.
Treatment Planning: Develop and regularly update goal-oriented treatment plans aligned with agency guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain detailed case records and ensure timely completion of case notes within 48 hours of interactions.
Qualifications for the Behavioral Health Social Worker:
Licensure: LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP, LMHC, or LCAT required (CASAC or CASAC-T is a plus).
Experience: At least 1 year of Clinical experience (familiarity with psychiatric issues, trauma, or incarceration is preferred).
Skills: Exceptional client engagement, counseling, documentation, and time management abilities.
Attributes: Compassionate and detail-oriented, with a commitment to holistic care and collaboration.
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish (SIFI certification is a plus).
Requirements: Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
