Job Overview - Behavior Consultant:
Our dedicated healthcare client in Philadelphia is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavior Consultant to join their team. This role involves providing intensive therapeutic services to children in home, community, or school settings, leading the clinical direction of services, and ensuring the effectiveness of individualized treatment plans.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $28/hour
Schedule: Flexible Day Hours


Responsibilities as the Behavior Consultant:
  • Clinical Direction: Coordinate treatment for children, develop treatment plans, and complete functional behavioral assessments.
  • Crisis Management: Act as a resource for crisis resolution and develop crisis plans.
  • Goal Monitoring: Ensure treatment goals fit the needs of the child and family, monitor progress, and update plans as needed.
  • Individual Therapy: Provide child-centered, strengths-based psychotherapy weekly.
  • Case Management: Maintain regular contact with families, schools, and other agencies, attend meetings, and provide updates on treatment.
  • Documentation: Document all therapy sessions, case management activities, and incidents promptly.
  • Collaboration: Work with schools, families, funding sources, and internal/external resources to meet client needs.
Qualifications for the Behavior Consultant:
  • Education: Master’s Degree in a clinical mental health discipline and completed clinical or MH practicum.
  • Certifications: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavioral analysis certification, Licensed BSC, Graduate degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time paid experience in the mental health field.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents, and families.
