Job Overview – Assisted Living Nurse Manager (RN):
Lead resident care and nursing operations with our client’s assisted living team in Bronx, NY, as an Assisted Living Nurse Manager (RN). This overnight leadership role involves supervising nursing staff, managing care plans, and ensuring compliance with assisted living regulations. You will oversee clinical operations for the Assisted Living Residence (ALR) and Assisted Living Program (ALP), supporting a compassionate, resident-centered care environment.
Compensation: $115,000 – $125,000/year
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday (Night Shift, 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM)
Responsibilities as the Assisted Living Nurse Manager (RN):
Clinical Oversight & Program Management: Direct health-related services within the ALR and ALP, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Resident Assessments & Care Planning: Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations, developing and updating individualized service plans (ISP) based on residents' needs.
Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage and support nursing staff and home health aides, fostering a culture of excellence in resident care.
Medication Management & Compliance: Oversee medication administration, ensuring adherence to protocols and resident safety.
Documentation & Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate resident records, monitor changes in condition, and ensure proper documentation of care.
Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care: Provide specialized support and interventions for residents with memory-related conditions.
Qualifications for the Assisted Living Nurse Manager (RN):
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred).
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in assisted living, home care, residential care, or rehabilitation settings.
Skills: Strong leadership, assessment, and care planning abilities, with expertise in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory compliance standards.
Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to lead and support a multidisciplinary team.
