Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director to help lead street outreach operations serving vulnerable populations in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will oversee housing placement efforts and promote harm reduction and housing-first approaches.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Supervising outreach Team Leaders
• Conducting regular structured supervision meetings
• Implementing street outreach and canvassing strategies
• Promoting evidence-based models like housing first and motivational interviewing
• Leading crisis interventions and risk assessments
• Ensuring timely reporting and documentation
• Serving as a key partner and resource for community stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Expert knowledge of care models and structures
• Successful stakeholder collaboration
• Incident management abilities
• Strong communication and leadership skills
