Job Overview – ACT Director (LMSW):
Join our client’s impactful team as an ACT Director (LMSW) in the Bronx, NY. In this full-time leadership role, you will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals with serious mental illness. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Community Support Programs, you will lead with a focus on delivering quality care, compliance, and innovative approaches to reduce recidivism and improve client outcomes.
Compensation: $90,000/year
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the ACT Director (LMSW):
Leadership and Operations: Manage clinical and administrative functions, ensuring service delivery and compliance with state and city standards.
Client Services: Conduct intakes, assessments, and treatment planning while overseeing risk reduction strategies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to NYS Office of Mental Health and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene guidelines.
Supervision and Training: Provide clinical supervision, lead meetings, and support professional development among ACT staff.
Crisis Management: Deliver 24-hour crisis consultation and ensure effective team responses during emergencies.
Administrative Duties: Oversee Medicaid billing, incident reporting, and compliance documentation to meet program goals.
Qualifications for the ACT Director (LMSW):
Education: Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
Licensure: Active New York State licensure in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling required.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in mental health or substance use treatment, including work with ACT teams, with a strong emphasis on supervisory experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic medical records and Medicaid billing practices.
Attributes: Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills with a client-centered approach.
Preferred: Spanish language proficiency and lived experience are highly valued.
