Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Community Mental Health):
Compensation: $28 – $38/hour
Location: Flint, MI
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Onsite, with on-call responsibilities)

You will provide off-site clinical services to adults with severe mental illness in community settings, collaborating with agencies, courts, hospitals, and families to support holistic care. This role requires flexibility for on-call needs, strong patient advocacy, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Responsibilities for the Registered Nurse (Community Mental Health):
Clinical Care: Deliver comprehensive, off-site nursing services to adults with severe mental illness in community-based settings.
Liaison & Advocacy: Serve as a key liaison with hospitals, courts, agencies, law enforcement, and families to coordinate care and support client needs.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, sharing insights and providing feedback to strengthen treatment planning and outcomes.
Crisis Response: Provide on-call emergency interventions as needed, ensuring timely support and maintaining client safety during critical situations.
Care Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration between programs, providers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Quality Support: Contribute to performance improvement and compliance initiatives, aligning care delivery with organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Community Mental Health):
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan required.
Experience: 1+ years of clinical experience working with adults with severe mental illness required.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) preferred.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage off-site responsibilities.
