Role Overview:
Join our client’s medical center as a Radiologist. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic radiology services and perform basic radiology procedures. You will also work alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Compensation: Based on Experience (BOE)
Location: Putnam County, Florida
Schedule:
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Minimum Shifts: 5 per month
• Privileges: 120 days
Responsibilities:
• Performing basic radiology procedures, including basic biopsies, excess drains, thoracentesis, paracentesis, joint injections, upper GI, and lumbar punctures
• Managing a daily diagnostic volume of approximately 80+ cases per day
• Reading an average of 4 mammography studies per day
• Working with a modality split as follows:
o ED: CR 52%, CT 39%, CTA 3%, US 6%
o IP: CR 45%, CT 21%, CTA 7%, MR 5%, MRA 1%, NM 2%, US 20%
o OP: CR 52%, CT 9%, MG 17%, MR 6%, NM 2%, PT 4%, US 10%
• Utilizing the Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications:
• Active Florida medical license (required)
• Active DEA registration for onsite work
• Board Certification in Radiology
• MQSA certification and Nuclear Medicine experience (if possible)
• Availability for a clinical call with clinical leadership
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) with all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format and any gaps over 30 days explained
• All licenses, board certifications, and other certifications with expiration dates listed on CV
• Clean malpractice history (NPDB report required if any history)
• Supporting documents for any legal issues
