Role Overview:
Join our client’s General Hospital as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a 215-bed acute care facility. Work alongside a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Compensation: Based on Experience (BOE)
Location: Pinellas County, Florida
Schedule:
• Shifts: NIGHTS only starting 7/1/2024 (7 PM - 5 AM)
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 12-hour shifts
• Weekends: Yes
• Call: No
• Minimum # of Shifts per Month: n/a
• Length of Assignment: ongoing
Responsibilities:
• Managing ICU patients and providing medical care in a 215-bed hospital setting
• Working as part of a 2-day physician rounder team
• Working 7 on/7 off, 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 5 AM) starting July 1, 2024
• Managing daily census that varies from 12 patients in the summer to 25 in the winter
• Utilizing MediTech electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications:
• Active Florida medical license (must have at time of presentation)
• Active DEA registration for all onsite work
• Board Certification in relevant specialty
• Comprehensive malpractice and background check
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) with all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format and any gaps over 30 days explained
• All licenses and certifications with expiration dates listed on CV
